Description
Gabion is a free, open-source tool developed by the SANS Institute that can be used to create a virtual, secure environment in which to conduct security research and experimentation. It is designed to provide a safe and isolated environment in which to test new tools and techniques, as well as to replicate and analyze attacks. Gabion is based on the popular VirtualBox tool and makes use of the Xen hypervisor. It is available for download from the SANS website.
